El día de ayer por la noche en el noticiero de Joaquin Lopez-Doriga, su titular intento entrevistar al actor Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Las fallas técnicas y el poco conocimiento del idioma ingles del “ticher” hicieron una entrevista que fue dolorosa de ver.

En el sitio oficial del conductor Richard Hammond, se disculpa por lo dicho en el show del domingo en Top Gear.

About time I spoke up on the Mexican affair.

Look, I was talking about the cartoon characters in western movies we all watched as kids and I am really sorry if I’ve offended anyone. Yes, we were stereotyping on Top Gear and yes, that can go wrong – as it rather has – but it can also be quite funny and that’s what we were hoping to do. We Brits are often portrayed as clumsy snobs in bowler hats with brown teeth and terrible food. And it’s funny. The BBC knows that and that’s why they’ve stated quite clearly that ‘stereotype comedy is allowed within BBC guidelines in programmes where the audience has clear expectations of that being the case.’ I don’t think anyone will disagree that Top Gear falls into that category.

Nevertheless, if we really have upset anyone, if they really feel I was expressing a genuinely held view that I believed Mexico to be populated by blokes in big hats and moustaches, then I am very sorry. Clearly, I don’t really believe this, any more than I imagine France to be full of amorous cyclists with onions round their necks.

Of course, if I really did believe in these things, don’t you think the joke would rather be on me? RH

Este fin de semana en el programa de la BBC Top Gear sus conductores hicieron comentarios ofensivos y racistas hacia los mexicanos cuando presentaban un auto construido en México.

A continuación el fragmento:

La embajada de México en Inglaterra ya ha mandado una carta quejándose y exigiendo una disculpa de su parte.

Top Gear un programa sobre autos se transmite en México a través del canal de cable BBC Entertainment que es distribuido por Televisa Networks.

Yo como fan de este programa, y que incluso lo recomendé en este mismo espacio simplemente no puedo creer lo ignorantes y ofensivos de sus comentarios.

Siguen los comentarios sobre la entrevista de Carlos Loret de Mola al cantante Kalimba, en este caso es del conductor Adal Ramones quien declaro que se encuentra molesto por la entrevista que le hizo y comenta que son muchos los que están molestos.

Esto se suma a otro miembro de Televisa como el cómico Eugenio Derbez quien también mostró su molestia en su cuenta de twitter.

Hay que aplaudir que estos dos personajes que trabajan para la misma empresa se hayan atrevido a criticarlo ya que sabemos que puede haber castigos. Un ejemplo para muchos otros comunicadores quienes han callado sus criticas.
